"At the end, always feel good to give some advice to fellow bahadurni." --->LOL ---- Okay, MBA majoring in management? If you are a citizen or hold a PR of this country and have reasonable number of experience and have, preferably an undergrad degree that hold some weight, MBA in management can add a paper weight in your professional quest. For about a month and a half ago I have a colleague (Vietnamese American) who has MBA in management who majored in finance in her undergrad. She is earning decent money (yes we talked about it). Also, she had four years of experience (two years as full time and two years as part time) in the related field in Fidelity Invest. So it appears it is working out fine for her. However: If you are not a citizen of this country, or have a PR and on top of that do not have decent years of experience to back you up, MBA in management is worth LESS than undergrad degree in accounting, or even finance, IMO. Pardon me for being blunt here, but MBA is management is hardly of any worth if you fall in the second category I mentioned. Why do foreigners who seek H1 here go for technical studies?Because the competition is less fierce and ensures comparatively high probability to land a job. In fact many have to pursue PHD just to remain in status even with these degrees. So, if you already have a job, and want to add to weight to your case to move higher up, by all means go for it. But if you expect to LAND a job, as a non-resident, please do consider going for a little more rewarding* concentration. I hope this helps in some way to figure out. IndisGuise:) P.S: Bhaute bro, Sachai ko Vietnamese American ayo ni mero dept. ma. LOL. Tyakkai mero chadke ma. Sikako kura sodnu parla yeso mialyera. HAHAHA. ;)
