vishiontar, i your case, there could be a process: blind faith -> enlightened faith -> knowledge. So, there is nothing wrong to have blind faith. There is no way you can get to knowledge without first appearing to have some kind of faith. to have an enlightened faith, you sure must be blind to believe it, that's why you continue to pursue the answers, by sources or by yourself. i don't think all those people who crowd in certain temples and follow certain rituals are blind faithed, because they were told by someone that it is true and they agree, so everyone are enlightened faithful.
