Coupla tyams 'this' "nachiz" tried to croon this gazal to his beloved only for her to doze off to "nindra devi ko kaakh" Hehehe. And once in a while when I used to ask her, how do I sing, after "much" consideration, she went, "ekdaam ramroo." Hahaha And I never stopped singing :). There were times when she used to croon with me as well (never gazals though), but if Jagjit and Chitra singh would have heard us, he would have literally KILLED us. We were that much in tune.;) La yo gazal pesh gardai chu mero Jagjit-esque awaaz ma. :) Apne Haathon Kee Lakiron Mein Basa Le Mujhko, Main Hoon Tera Tu Naseeb Apna Bana Le Mujhko Mujhse Tu Poochne Aaya Hai Wafa Ke Maane, Ye Teri Saadaa-dili Maar Na Daale Mujhko Khud Ko Main Baant Na Daaloon Kahin Daaman-daaman, Kar Diya Tune Agar Mere Hawaale Mujhkooooo Waada Fir Waada Hai Main Zehar Bhi Pee Jaaoon 'qateel', Shart Ye Hai Koi Baahon Mein Sambhaale Mujhko Sukriya, IndisGuise;) P.S: "Ekdam ramro" could have been expressed in X number of languages but for the sake of keeping things uniform, I may have chosen to use that.
