well if u are student, then I don't think it is necessary to take anything since U are taking urself out there. Well U need to tell them the truth what is ur n position out here. If u are making tons of money or U would like to do someting special, then get a picture frame from ur room with family picture n tell them U always look at it when u feel alone. For Relatives U can get some chocolate for thier kids cause if kids are happy, I am srue parents will be happy as well. If nothiing more, Give them a big kiss n hugs.
