I forgot where but I'd just seen the comparision of postal services somewhere in the web. For EMS, it costs 1200 rupees per 200 gram (a guess). You can check nepalpostal site http://www.nepalpost.gov.np/ Some airlines might have their own cargo service, and you probably won't get better deal than them if there's the one linking between Nepal and USA.
