US Therapist OKs Solo Sex
Top American sex education teacher Cay L. Crow claimed that
masturbation is an effective way of alleviating stress in an interview with US
journal The Ranger this week, declaring 'it also is a great way to mediate
anxiety'.
"According to the American Medical Association, there is no harm in
masturbating," Ms Crow added, "And it's perfectly safe in this era of
disease."
Her comments flatly contradicted the stance adopted by fundamental
organisations such as the Mormons, who recently published a 'Guide to Self
Control' advising self abusers to 'pray fervently and out loud when the
temptations are the strongest'.
"Masturbation is a sinful habit that robs one of the Spirit and creates
guilt and emotional stress," the Mormon's pamphlet explains,
"This self-gratifying activity will cause one to lose his self-respect
and feel guilty and depressed, which can in the extreme lead to further
sinning. As a person feels spiritually unclean, he loses interest in
prayer, his testimony becomes weak, and missionary work and other Church
callings become burdensome, offering no joy and limited success," they
warn.
