Marginalization of communities is in strata fold ways, it will not be an easy job to educate the absence of caste and social heirecracy, except for the material worths. However, do not this story tell us that given an opportunity, those who cry foul over discrimination, do not hesitate to prepatuate the same to weaker than them. Now, taking neutral viewpoint, what is the story from the otherside. One sided stories where, the person involved or not is presented as victim of injustice, often tend to be misleading. There must be other story, that Sunita and Deepa's relatives have to say. Now, reading the story of how the real incident happened, I am not convienced, drama, jungle, slit throat, why the jwellery was given to Saraswati. Why didn't she tell her mother, and if she knew, why didn't they go and tell others. They may have been victims of affuluent gurungs in their village, but again do not gurungs belong to our janjati category too. Just my two cents, but having said that (above), I strongly agree that justice system in Nepal is crap and outdated, it needs swift and thouthful reforms.
