UNESCO with othe countires partenerIn order to avoid a relapse into illiteracy and to keep the moementum if the literacy campaign going, the government of Ethiopia provided more than 1400 reading rooms, together with booklets dealing with health agriculture, family life and political education. In Nicaragua, enthusiastic students and others were kept as teachers for post-literacy and adult education activites. The United Republic of Tanzania established rura newspapers and libraries as part of its post-literacy measuers.
Various methods and tools are used in many types of projects run by UNESCO to help people to be lliterate such as various volunteers, including primary-school teachers, literate farmers, village leaders and literacy graduates themselves are used in literacy campaigns. Once the liteacy campaign is successfully over it continiues with post literacy projects.......................
