I will search for the details after 1st February events. I search from 1990 to 1st February 2005. Time line of Nepal since 1990. 1990: Popular Movement of people. King Birendra offers democracy and become constitutional monarch. Reestablishment of Multi party parliament system. 19 Apr 1990: Krishna Prasad Bhattarai becomes Prime Minister to hold elections May 1991: Girija Koirala of Nepali congress becomes the Prime Minister of Nepal November 1994: No confidence movement against the Koirala government from NC. Girija P. Koirala dissolves the Parliament. Nov 1994: The UML- Communist Party Nepal comes to power. Man Mohan Adhikari becomes the Prime Minister. September1995: Sher Bahadur Deuba replaces ManMohan Adhikari (9 months UML gov). Maoist insurgency (Peoples war) begins. March 1997: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba replaced by Lokendra Bahadur Chand October 1997: Surya Bahadur Thapa takes over Lokendra B Chand. (split in Rastriya Prajatantra Party) April 1998: Girija Prasad Koirala again represents NC as Prime Minister. May 1999: Election and Krishna Prashad Bhattarai becomes PM of Nepal March 2000: Krishna P. Bhattarai steps down and Girija P. Koirala again becomes PM of Nepal. June 1st 2001 : King Birendra, Queen Aiswarya and nine other royal families killed. June 2nd 2001: Crown Prince Dipendra was named King of Nepal June 4th 2001: King Dipendra declared dead. Gyanendra declared King of Nepal. July 2001: Girija Koirala resigns as PM. Sher Bahadur Deuba appointed as the PM of Nepal October 2002: Sher Bahadur Deuba sacked and Lokendra B Chand brought in as PM November 2002: Peace talk with Maoist fails. June 2003: Lokendra B Chand resigns as PM and Surya Bahadur Thapa appointed PM June 2004: Surya B. Thapa resigns. May 2004: Sher B. Deuba appointed as PM of Nepal. 1st February 2005: King Gyanendra sacked PM Sher B. Deuba and declares emergency and assumes direct power. to be continued....
