Reestablishment of Multi party parliament system. 19 Apr 1990: Krishna Prasad Bhattarai becomes Prime Minister to hold elections May 1991: Girija Koirala of Nepali congress becomes the Prime Minister of Nepal November 1994: No confidence movement against the Koirala government from NC. Girija P. Koirala dissolves the Parliament. Nov 1994: The UML- Communist Party Nepal comes to power. Man Mohan Adhikari becomes the Prime Minister. September1995: Sher Bahadur Deuba replaces ManMohan Adhikari (9 months UML gov). Maoist insurgency (Peoples war) begins. March 1997: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba replaced by Lokendra Bahadur Chand October 1997: Surya Bahadur Thapa takes over Lokendra B Chand. (split in Rastriya Prajatantra Party) April 1998: Girija Prasad Koirala again represents NC as Prime Minister.
