They have called for a general strike in Kathmandu Valley Friday to protest the brutal killings that resulted from the Armyfs highhandedness. Tens of thousands of pro-democracy demonstrators have assembled in the streets at New Baneshwar now to protest the government and press for restoration of peace and democracy. The call of general strike tomorrow was announced by alliance leaders while addressing the huge crowd of protestors Thuisrday. Meanwhile, military authorities have not yet handed over the bodies of those killed in Wednesdayfs incident to their relatives. All the bodies have now been kept at Bhaktapur Hospital.
