NLN Correspondent, KATHMANDU: A team of Royal Nepalese Army (RNA) personnel Wednesday night gunned down 14 civilians at Gadgade, Nagarkot. According to villagers, people were celebrating Purnima jatra when a army man made a love with a local girl at a side corner of the jatra. Infuriated Locals than beat up the army man. Soon after the armyman went back to Nagarkot barrack, a team from the Nagarkot barrack came to the Jatra, where hundreds of people were making fun and enjoying the jatra, opened indiscriminate firing at the locals and killed 14 people.
