An official at the District Administration Office at Bhaktapur confirmed the incident but said he did not have details. An investigation is underway, he said. The state run Radio Nepal quoting spokesman of RNA said details of the incident will be made public after the investigation. According to preliminary reports, row broke up on the issue of alleged mistreatment of young village women who were taking part in the fair. Security personnel retaliated after their colleagues were reportedly manhandled. Details were not immediately available. Human rights activists monitoring the incident said bodies have been brought at the Bhaktapur Cancer hospital and that tight security has been put in place hospital.
