Among the responses, I found this one quite interesting: From: Adrian Comment: I'm an Australian with Chinese heritage. I think what happened at Cronulla is shameful and un-Australian. I'm proudly singing "We are Australian" because that is what Australia is and we should be proud of it. On the other hand, I also urge the Muslim community to behave better as their attitude recently such as preaching violence and jihad, praising Osama bin Laden, making awful comments about women wearing mini skirts, etc has sparked tension with other communities. We are a very heterogenous society and each community should respect each other. I saw much of so-called Islamic bravado in some parts of Canada and the US too, to the point that it was offensive to other non-Islamic people. These moslems need to understand that they have now immigrated to multi-ethnic multi-religious nations and their behaviour too need to adapt to this new environment. Having said that, beating up each other is hardly a way to go. The governments should take necessary steps so that there is harmony in the country.
