Tripura CM in trouble over human skeleton From Our Correspondent AGARTALA: The ruling CPI(M) has rubbished forensic report that the skeletal remains of a girl found at septik tank of the Chief Minister's official residence early this year was dumped into the tank during the tenure of present Chief Minister Manik Sarkar. The report was made public by the Congress who alleged that the Chief Minister was more or less "involved" in the incident."According to the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), Chandigarh, the girl , a Nepali, was brutally killed before rape and was dumped into the septic tank of the official residence of the Chief Minister," PCC president Samir Ranjan Barman told reporters at a press conference at Congress Bhavan on Saturday night. Quoting statements recorded before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) in connection with the case, PCC president said the septic tank in the Chief Minister's official residence was cleaned on December 29, 2000."According to official statement, the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar had occupied the official residence on March 20, 1998, which indicates that the body was dumped during the Manik Sarkar's tenure," he pointed out. According to the CFSL investigation, the age of the girl was of a female between 13-14 years and 140-145 cm tall.Meanwhile, the CPI(M) has demanded immediate arrest of PCC president for making false and fabricated statements, spokesman of the party, Goutam Das told reporters at a press conference on Sunday.
