Like any other regions around the world it is rather absurd to blame squarely on leaders of policial parties or the monarch or the revolutionaries. The countries that had went through the experiement of centuries long socio-econonmic and socio-political system similar to that of Nepal had civil unrest and political snstablity all around the globe. For example look at the contries in central to South America. Leftist revolutionairy movement brewed in Chiapas (Mexico) to Bolivia, from Cuba to Peru. I dont believe the people in these countries were great fans of radical leftists however I have a little doubt that they were absolutely eager to get out the social and political system that seemed stand still in time like a dead end. Naturally the leftist radicals seemed an attractive force to get them out of that "dead end". Of course they are not dumb and stupid and they did not embrace leftist radicals in their hearts yet they saw them as the lesser of the two devils.
