Allmost all Tamil people know the acts of LTTE yet most Tamil people will alwayts see LTTE as a freedom fighter rather than a terrorist group. Most Palestinian people know about the acts of PLO yet Palestinian people will always see PLO as a freedom fighter rather than a terrorist group. And there are so many other examples in every corners of the world and the Maoists are simply one of those example caught in the crossfire of label as "terrorist" or "freedom fighter".
