moneyminded is right, its easy to say, i'd have shot him but its not that easy. If one of them (igps) already had this preplanned, then it'd be easy. Paras is higher in rank, so normally in police and army, higher rank shouts, curses at you and u still have to obey the order. Paras had gone way farther when he used physical force, yes someone should have shot him, but poor officers need to think not only about themselves but their family, relatives, friends and who knows how many others that may suffer king's wrath after paras in case gets killed. It is better to bear the slap but make a plan to shoot him from somewhere like kennedy. that'd be better plan i think. :-) who knows someone is already planning it
