Mr. Subedi, Here are my couple cents: 1. Unless you have obtained approval from respective sources, it is illegal (even though your visitors might like it) to re-print copyrighted information. Please note that you and your organization could be in trouble if sued, and your defense that it is helpful to your audience, and that everyone does it, too lacks substance. 2. It is an even greater offense, both legal and moral, to publish information as your own work ("News Collection By Ramhari Subedi"), while in fact, you simply copied and pasted someone else's work in its entirety. You may have done it to help your visitors, but I think it is equally important for you to be aware of other implications. It bothers me that instead of admitting and correcting the error, you seem to be thankful to this thread for attracting more visitors to your organization's website and seem to want to argue and extend this discussion for more similar advantage. Well, I did visit your website, and until I read this thread fully, I was under the impression that all the news articles that were published on your organization's website were indeed written by you. Thank you for your service, but please correct the error and at least cite the sources on those news articles if they aren't really your work. In fact, I would rather see you post just a link to the complete article on the source's own website, unless you have obtained appropriate clearance to reproduce.
