I think some people are completely missing the point rockon_gal is trying to make... I understand the fact that its hard to speak nepali if one is born outside of nepal or has left nepal at a early age. Sometimes speaking nepali at home just isn't enough. But then there are these other "nautanki" people who piss me off so much.. When you've spent a decade+ in Nepal and moved to U.S. or anywhere else, it stupid to say that they don't know any nepali. Coz i've personally met many many teens who've lived in Nepal for msot of their lives and act like they dont understand/can't speak nepali, and to me that's just BS. I left Nepal at an early age, yet I can speak nepali/understand fluently. And, when i see these other people, who've only been out of nepal for a few years and try to pretend that theyve forgotten their mother tongue, it gets me mad.. read mad!
