Chatmandude, As much as Ram Bomzan's "during the day"effort is praiseworthy, his nights behind the curtain is equally questionable. There is no behind the scene or closed sessions for dharma slingers. No,I would not purchase a media image that delivers half-the-truth.Publicity in a tabloid manner distorts the image of enlightenment seekers if thats what the boy is convinced to achieve. As I have mentioned earlier Buddhas walk middle path avoiding extremes. The "during the day"stunt of Ram Bomzan is purely pro-myth.Self-mortification was the path even Siddhartha Gautama avoided convinced it would not lead him to enlightenment.Ram Bomzan and his media image suggests he is practicing self-torture and unless he is a super natural human soul( it is impossible for anyone to stay hungry for six months),the notion that I dismiss period.Buddhism is a realization and realization comes from human experiences, but the society like ours that endorses idol worship culture asking favors with gods has expounded its own dogmatic look at the buddhist philosophy. The day time effort of the boy to realize the truth maynot be a HOAX but the curtain that blocks him from the world at night is.And for the followers to hastily conclude this as Buddhas re-incarnation is blind faith at its peak. Buddha has already avoided the cycle of birth and death so this cannot be his re-incarnation.
