I wanna note some points or you can call it criticisms or whatever you feel like. 1. Mr. Thapas generalization about Nepalis in US. I think he is right on mentioning that majority want democracy. I want demorcarcy too but I am trying to figure out way to go about it. But he should not be making generalization. 2. He mentions about the support . But I do not see the way he is going to utilize it. 3. He divides pro democrats in 2 groups. Republican deomcrats and democrats. He seems to be in favor of republican democrat. He still fails to make his point clear ragarding feasiblity of republican democracy. 4. Poonte-- COnncetion with high level army family. People dying are from the poor family and social status. In the army ranks, in the maoists ranks and even on the streets. Highers status and family (so called) are playing with the poor people. Why I have disadain? 07, 46 --> Revolution saw poor people giving their life where as some peopole with high status played them around. These people came into power and but the misery remained. How can this new revolution be different? Maoists issue is the biggest issue. How can we solve it? Even the AMericans (in the words of Gagan) wants to keep king. Where will the revolution head if the king gives away autocracy and selects constitution? There are lotta issues that needs to be dealt with. The diaspora needs to prove their intent. Admit it, the action taken here will not have afffect on the people here but it may have severe consequences in Nepal. The last factor. Gagan hints to stop military aid. But what if the maoists start winning the war and sets up a totalitaian communist govt??? Power to the people. HF for peace in Nepal. peace out
