not because it began with fairy tale or it's often connected with newars....nepal sambat sould be our official language because it was born in nepal...nepali soil...it had been in use officially for centuries till ranas replaced it by bikram sambat ....n bikram sambat i's not our creation ..it belongs to india....n...india still claimed it as her calender ..can we feel respect for claiming the thing that's not ours?....if nepal sambat has any shortcoming ..then we can rectify..in today's age...it's not a big deal to play with numbers..we should follow it because it's our unique....it's our own creation...n it's our glory ..n...mr. aryal u claim urself to be a global citizen ...then why u r so impatient n stereotype about particular race...u think newars r inferior b'coz they r da most culturally rich race of the country? ...b'coz they've their own uniqueness in everything from ...food..architect...language...script...clothes...to culture n rites n rituals......newars have toiled hard for centuries to earn land amasses n business n architects in kathmandu valley......besides kathmandu valley is their homeland...if u label them left out mangolian or whatever crap comes into ur mind...then i have label u (in terms of ur own standard of labelling) as trepasser...encroucher
