Don't corrupt others head. Myths of that time has been full of lies and were unbelievably inflated. Advocates of Nepal sambat have mostly been those who speak Newari dialect and think Newari dialect should be the national language of Nepal which, if you have noticed, was derived from Tibetan language. When Newari businessmen were involved in trade with Tibet they invented this mix dialect for their use with Tibetans. If you notice, rich Newars in Kathmandu amashed their properties thru their trade with Tibet. Newars are Mongolian left outs in the kingdom (when Mongolians ruled our country) who pose as a minor tribe but have a strong hold in Kathmandu primarily because of their business and property amass. And it makes no sense at all to the use the sambat 1126 years of Sankhadhar's myths and lies. Come on guys, wake up. Don't corrupt others mind. We have internationalised Maoism( which does not exist in this world anymore than in China, if at all) for the sake of regional (especially India's) extremist communists' vested interests as they want to make a weak Nepal as their safe haven for extreme communist interests, royal family killings and corrupt Democracy of all those looters like Surya Bahadur Thapa, Girija Koirala, Jhal Nath Khanal, Sher Bdr Deupa (who authorised Nepal's tax money to buy Pajeros and MP's benefits?) and their notorous gangs. Enough of short-sightedness of us all! May Gautam Buddha bless us all Nepalese for some Bodhisatva or wisdom to bring unity back on track for peace, progress and prosperity.
