this is from my experience. may b there r better ways.
1. refer to the computer device list. that came with the computer usually it lists. or
2. you can open the computer and look @ the reading on the RAM installed on the PCI slot of the motherboard.
IT TELLS you whether it is SDRAM, RDRAM. It also tells u whether it is 168 pin or 184 pin.
or [ usually INTEL PROCESSORS USE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING] PC66, PC100 or PC133.
