For me, It has been just like as if Nepal has been piece of cake to someone else, and I am just siting here and looking everybody taking a piece of it. First there were rajas and maharajas taking that delicious piece and savouring their apetite, then came ranas and their bloody blood bath, soon to be followed by confused and chaosful years of so called democracy with king directly participating as FATHER OF DEMOCRACY. This was still not enough, and then come the 37 years of Panchayet, where the country took backstep rather than forward step. I had no hopes and dreams from the 1990 revolutions, as I was ignorant of these stuffs, rather busy with my own dreams as a child. But as I grew up with the so called democracy, and the great GIRIJA and MADHAVs using it as power hungry mongers, I felt the flaw of the system. The bandhs for nothing, demonstrations without reasons, corruption flourishing in evey place, and rising Maoist People's war, made the situation from bad to worse. The Jestha 19 followed, and then came the 'Black' king in the power. And came his power hungry drive on the run of Ashoj 18, Magh 19 and lots of other dates. The power which Nepalese people had ACTUALLY never tasted were now rather curtailed in open ways. I had never been depressed of Nepal's condition before. But seeing the so hard earned basic rights curtailed in vohement ways and the nations earnings used for personal benefits and purposes, I couldnot care less. I was infuriated of seeing a dictator in rise who had used ONLY GUNS AND BLOODS to come into power. I had no faith in the parties either as they were the ones who made the people loose their faith in PEOPLE's System. And I don't had faith in Maoists too, as although their intentions were somehow better than filthy politicians, they were taking lots of innocent life, earning part of hard earned people's money and making fear as decisive tools rather than love. The king, He had lost my faith long time ago, even before he was throned as a king. I was search in some leaders who can lead so that I could participate so to get my basic rights back, to get to further step from stagnnacy. There were lots of Nagrik sabhas and demonstration happening in Kathmandu, in which I participated in the hopes of getting my rights back. As for political demonstrations, I was still awe of the corrupt and filthy leaders. I still wanted to see some new leaders come into rise. I saw some of leaders writing as intellectuals, and creating the massive waves among the public through their open retaliation against any kind of autocracy, either that be in the country or within their party. And I saw a glimmer of hope. Although some of this glimmering lights was shadowed with some clouds. The leaders sacrifice their life to give their followers freedom and better future, So they are called leaders (thats why they call Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi Leaders) , But in Nepal, It was as if they sacrifice their careers and life to make an opportunity to come into power and make their own life better. I see my hope in some of these new rising stars, including Gagan Thapa, Krishna Pahadi, Sambhu Gyawali, Narhari Acharya to name the few. But I see some black clouds in their political career too, and to have a clean leader, there should be transparancy in their career also. I am not a blind supporter and I wish to see validity of reason and their honesty before I support anyone. As a Nepalese citizen and as a tax payer, I CARE WHO IS LEADING MY COUNTRY AND WHERE MY HARD EARNED MONEY IS GOING!!! and I support the MOVEMENT for DEMOCRATIC NEPAL. But before I support any leaders leading the movement, Shouldn't they clarify some of the matters thats obscuring their brightness as a leading star..... FOR ME THEY SHOULD!!! AND I CARE FOR EVERY DETAILS, DO YOU??? And I want to see every Nepalese having a piece of his own cake as a country man... MAY PEOPLE BE HEARD... AND MAY EVERYONE FEAR THEIR POWER Nirman~*
