I think Calling bhote among nepali is little common. Last year when I went to my maita in Nepal with my one year old son ( who was chubby) Everyone started to say how come bahun ko nati became bhote!!! I think becasue he was chubby but I did not care becasue it does not matter to me what people think. So pagli don't worry, do not let your bahun freind bother you. It is ok to be bhote or bahun, chhetri or whatever man made category you are in. People have been like that ever since and they are not going to change, and we can not stop their mouth.
