Just to reiterate Dr. Strangelove's info. The Kantipur article indeed appears to be from the former king nominated member of Rastriya Sabha, Dipta Prakash Shah and does signal what we call "मर्न लागेको भैंसीलाई जुम्राले पनि छोड्छ"। Dr. Strangelove is also right that I did have a couple of conversations with DC's Dipta Shah. The latest one was as recently as two weeks ago in nepaldemocracy@googlegroups. Mr. Shah was unhappy with me for publicizing in the group Peacejournalism's article that among other things has reported that pro-democracy NY rally was attended by a total of 62 people. Mr. Shah also attributed four advisor's quitting Peacejournalism to my "manipulation". Mr. Shah was very active after Feb 1 and during a pro-king rally in DC several months ago. When I asked if his earlier views have changed, he wouldn't reply. However, he mentioned about "figurehead" monarchy in one of our exchanges without elaborating much.
