Indian police enter Nepal Mahendranagar, 17 Oct: Indian security personnel entered Nepal to search for Maoists and returned after they looted Thapaliyal village in neighbouring Uttaranchal Pradesh, Radhani reports. About 400 Maoists entered the village and beat up a hotel owner Shanker Singh Mahar and decamped with Rs 30,000. Locals said Maoists regularly raided the village before and Indian security personnel also entered Nepal previously.
