i have to agree here. when i saw the picture of Miss Nepal 2005 my initial reaction was 'what the hell were the judges thinking???? its granted that talent should be an essential part of the beauty contest but hey like someone above said 'it isn't a mere talent contest'. i think if she is to represent Nepal in an international arena she will only bring disgrace to the himalayan beauties. i am sure she is a very nice person but she can not be the representative of the beauties of Nepal. if they had to give her a title bc of her connection (her father probably sponsored the whole event....or something like that) then they should have only made her the first or second runners up or given her another title to make her dady happy not the most coveted title......i thought the first runners up was far more prettier than the winner and she ought to have some talent to survive that far in the race. below is the pic of 1st runners up....
