As I said above, great player(s) in a team will make a difference. You may be surprised to know that Giants did well with Barry on the lineup. Giants won 44% of the time w/o him and with him they won 64% of the time. You go figure. Let me make clear that I am not a Barry fan. He is a great player and when is on the lineup an opposition coach have to rethink about pitching strategy. He would sign the best player avail to play for Center Field ;) If I remember the best offensive player Yankees signed last year was Tino Martinez (non pitching players) and he was signed to play defense on 1st base. He thinks Yankees going to steal Damon (good leadoff but avg center fielder). He is also saying Red Sox doens't have a chance to keep Manny. I love to hear your take on it ;)
