One question to Sirish, since you have been doing most of the postings in thh thread about Gagan. How do you kow so much information about Gagan thapa? how can you say that he was invited by US government and not that he applied to attend some programs himself? I also read his interview in wave magazine. When asked about maoists, he has dodged the question raising doubt that he is sympathetic to maoist. How come a person with so much gut, one who can oppose monarchy, can never ever speak a word against maoists? He has not even condemned any of maoist atrocities. Because the answer is simple. If you oppose the king, all they will do is put you in prison for two days and they have to release you due to pressure from human rights group. But if you oppose the maoists, it is not that safe. Maybe he is not showing that much courage after all. Could you clarify the above two issues for me and for other sajha readers?
