I just finished reading James Frey?s memoir A Million Little Pieces. I have to admit that never in my life have I been so moved by a book written straight from the heart. Experiencing the journey vicariously with James and going through the emotions of love, hate, fear, anger, regrets, laughter, pain, and hope that life brought him was deep and profound. In this book, James takes the reader to the world of Addicts and overcoming the addictions. However, this book has much more to it than that. It is about coming to terms with one?s fear and insecurities, going forward with what you believe in, forgetting the past and living in the present; it is about friendship that encompasses kindness and trust without any judgements, and above all, it?s about courage and redemption. A very inspiring read, I highly recommend A Million Little Pieces by James Frey. If you have read it already, please feel free to share your thoughts.
