Thanks for your post. I would put aside my humility for a second and let myself wallow in the plaudits that my writing attracts. If I were you. Yes, a great many men of letters are known for their arrogance (the old Oxonian VS Naipaul included!) and that may well be a fault if I call it so, found in writers - a universal one perhaps. But the reverse seems to be true in your case, and I will call that a fault as well!! One brainy git once said - 'all great men have great faults'. A food for thought, John, and thanks again.
