as a lay person reading the report, i thought about something which is probably wacky. what if stress leads to larger release of peptic juices (which we know occurs), creating more conducive conditions for bacteria to fester? just wondering if there are any medical doctors out there who might have an insight into this. then, the scientific contribution of the aussie docs would be the link between stress and ulcers......
