How about this car?

Harikancha, Not than I am a car expert, but I hope my personal experience and advice will be of some help to you. I was myself in the used car market a few months ago and was initially considering the Gallant as well. My other options were Camry, Accord, Altima, and Mazda 626. The model year range I considered was between 2000 and 2003. After extensive web research, I ruled out the Gallant for the following reasons: 1. higher insurance costs (about 30% more than Accord and Camry, 20% more than Altima, and similar to the Mazda as quoted by my insurance company..all for 2002 basic models) 2. higher depreciation costs 3. reviews suggested known issues with brakes Also, test driving the other three vehicles (I didn't drive the Mazda) was a much more pleasant experience. I ended up buying an Accord :) You may want to do some extensive research at www.edmunds.com and autos.msn.com Be sure to check out the TMV (True Market Value) and True Cost of Ownership at Edmunds. Don't pay over the TMV amount. Aba tapai le list garnu bhaeko gaadi haru heru hai: Despite of the low mileage and price, I would rule out the 98 Accent, or any pre-2000 Korean vehicle for that matter. I would consider the other Korean cars ONLY IF the 10 yr/100K warranty is transferable. I never considered buying American vehicles but personally, bahira bata herda Neon ta jhur dekhincha, the Focus looks pretty cool though. As for other factors, web research garnu hola :) All that said, I would go for the Corolla or Civic. As a Corolla owner of over 7 yrs, I can highly recommend it. It has been running virtually flawlessly even though it is approaching 153K now (bought a 96 model with 44K). The Civic also is probably of comparable quality. The one you listed sounds a bit pricey though, be sure to research on the price. Also if upto 12-13K is within your budget, you may want to consider certified used vehicles as well. Last but not least, I must second with Neupaneji. "Used cars are used cars... There is no guarentee what'll happen. But usually, by the records, honda, toyota, nissans have less number of bad cars than others. That doesn't mean every car from them will be good." Good luck with your vehicle search. Neupaneji, ani tetro laamo samma oil change nagari chalaidinay bhanya :) On another note, tapai le post garnu bhaeko photo haru sarai ramra chan hai..looking forward to more.
