First of all - what does murchunga mean? Anyways, although I'm happy that I can listen to my favorite songs online for FREE - I'm surprised that people are setting up websites with Nepali music freely available for download without any legal authorization from the music labels or the artist themselves (nepalisongs.com, chiyapasal.com, nepal123.com). Most Nepalese artists struggle to make a living out of record sales. Instead of making music freely available, I think a paysite that collects proceeds and compensates the artists accordingly will go a long way in helping out the artists so that they stay in business and come up with better music in the future for us to enjoy. As most of us are outside of Nepal, we are in a position to buy music (given that the paysite charges are reasonable). Certainly, free download sites like this one do not help.
