Fraud by Nepali Employment Brokers: 13 Nepalis stranded in Madagascar News from KOL Report KATHMANDU, Sept 21 - Thirteen Nepalis who were lured of high-salary jobs in Madagascar, South Africa, by a broker have been left stranded there. They have appealed to the Nepal government for rescue. Ganesh Magar, Amrit Gurung, Ajit Gurung of Syangja; Amrit Gurung and Dhurba of Pokhara, Durga Gurung of Nawalparasi, Rishi Ranabhat of Arghakhanchi, Giriraj Lamichane of Gorkha, Lokhnath Neupane and Deepak Maharjan of Kathmandu, Ramesh Rai of Sunsari, Saurav and Mohna of Birgunj are among the stranded. Chhetri of Gorkha.,? said Ramesh Rai, one of the victims. The brokers have been operating their illegal business from Mumbai.
