So the protest in NY was GREAT!!

It seems the people who went NY for the rally thought they achieved a lot. Good positive thinking. My only question to all the 400-500 ("even though only 368 signed") people who were there is "how many of you voted in the last election in Nepal". A rally in New York will never bring democracy in Nepal, what it might bring is an asylum to some of you. I am sure most of you didn't go there really thinking this would make a difference in the current political crisis. If rallies could make a difference, Nepal would be the most developed country in the world. Just count the amount of rallies we have in Nepal, especially in the last 8-10 years. What we need to do is demand from our "so called democratic leaders" like Girja et al to step down and give the leadership to a new generation which thinks largely about development, economy, education and technology. We have to tell them we will not vote, not support them until this is done. In the mean time let the king rule. What we do is just yell at whoever is in power. But think clearly and the king is the best alternative to all other leaders in the country. Until there are new generations of leaders, there are no differences as to who rules. Please don't waste your time driving or flying to NY or anywhere, Gas is expensive and so is your time.
