No. Not at all. There was NO scandal -- huge or small -- of any sort in Boston. Else, I would NOT be the one using my own name and putting my credibility in line on this GBNC Web site ... in a public forum like this again and again to share ideas and information, and to take part in various debates here since the year 2000. Since you brought this up, let me say: In Boston, as I have discussed before on Sajha, I did have falling out with two individuals: 1. Rajesh Babu Shrestha (over how he ran the GBNC then), and with 2. Shailesh Nath Gongal (someone who I encouraged and helped to get into MIT's Urban Planning program from Regional Engineering College in Durgapur, West Bengal, India.) About Rajesh -- I wish him well. No hard feelings now. About Shailesh -- I can say that I am neither the first nor the last person he has backstabbed and lost as a friend. And that's the way he is -- who am I change his genetic code? Unable to deal with me face to face and unable to resolve the disagreements there and then, he did his best to turn a few impressionable classmates against me then -- and tried to paint me as everyone's enemy. But that attempt has largely backfired, for I am the one who is in touch with most of our classmates now. Shailesh is the way he was, and I wish him well. ***** Frankly, I could care less where these attacks on Sajha are coming from these days. I know that of the 3000-plusa unique visitors, only about two to three individuals are involved in these attacks, and that's life. On a larger note, when and if you work in Nepal in a public setting, you guys will have to endure many false attacks and face slimey backstabbings that are going to be a lot more severe. When was the last time you heard/read a Nepali expressing a genuine joy in a non-relative's success? Meantime, it's better to learn how to deal with these attacks -- and not be fazed by them. NOW: Can we get back to Voice Over Internet Protocol (voIP) stuff? oohi ashu
