Carnell You are right, BCS got into controversy last season as well. I got mixed up in the 03 and 04 seasons (what a Holy Mess.. I shall get Burnt for that). However, BCS been criticized year after year. If you don't agree with that then I have nothing to discuss with you on this NCAA football matter. In 03, all those teams lost 1 games each. None went undefeated. Two non BCS schools (Miami University and Boise State) also had one losses each. And oF course last year USC-OU-AU went undefeated. ANd lots of people thouhgt AU deserved to play USC for the BCS championship. By the way, I think we are all talking about National Championships. Mr. Stubborn I don't remember Mentioning USC as the BCS champion of 03!!! THe history books Prinit them as the Co-2003 National Champions. Like it or not that's the truth. Last year they did it with No controversy (even though Auburn Nation had bitter feelings about Being left out from the National Title shares.) And with 05 season On... I guess the Trojans are going for 3 in a row BOB. Short Circuit Brother: Looking at the strength of the schedule : USC has the easiest way out. The teams that might give them some trouble are Oregon (sep24),Arizona State (Oct. 1), ND(Oct. 15), California (Nov. 12), and UCLA (Dec. 3). I still believe USC can beat all these teams. I have to wait and see how all these teams do down the road. Texas and Oklahoma both belong to BIG 12 SOuth, and that is one of the most competitive conference in all of DIV IA football. Texas survived the Litmust Test at Columbus gainst Ohio state Buckeyes. Of Course the big game will be against Sooners. However, don't forget Okalhoma state cowboys, and two other teams from Texas (The Big 12teams) they don't go away without fights. I think Texas will survive all their opponents.. except for OU. We will have to wait and See. Oklahoma already lost to TCU. Their Next biggest challenge wil be against Texas on October 8th. Talking of challenge, UCLA will be good team to play against. The Sooners have to pick up their game sooner than later. They Beat Tulsa convincingly but they have to establish some consistency in the passing game. A. Pederson alone cannot carry the whole load when they have to play Better teams. A. Pederson might RUnawya with Heisman this year. Watch out. Oh, AX bro can't wait to see SOOners travelling to play Nebraska. I am sure that will be a very Important game for both teams if they both go undefeated by then (Tryign to Say if OU don't lose another game.) As of SEC: TENNESSEE and LSU might be the teams to watch out for this season. GIven that this is another competitive conference, they might nullify their chances of winning the nationl title by losing to one of their own conference Rivals. Tennessee will be tested by Florida this weekend. That will be a BIG game. Then the following weekend they will play the LSU tigers. (LSU VS Tennn, will sound similar to OU vs TExas). But again the Vols. have to play Georgia Bull dogs (oct. 8), and at Notre Dame (Nov. 15). So, it's a long season for the Vols. LSU willl have no easy way out since they will be playing the SEC teams for most of the season. Sep 24 against Tennessee, Nov. 6 against Florida, and Oct. 12 against AUburn, all these games will be tough for them. I will have No problems if LSU wins the National Championship this year. That will be a GOOD Relief for hundreds of thousands of People who have been suffering since Hurrican Katrina Tooks its toll. While they are a very good team, I don't really think they are a National Championship team this year. I think Texas will play USC for the national title game and eventually win it. Texas might lose to OU, still they will make it to number 2 in rankings if they don't lose another game. I am assuming there won't be 3 undefeated teams by the end of the season. Again I haven't given up on OU sooners yet. But for that I will have to wait for other contenders to lose thier games first. THis should be another interesting season. I will be happy as long as USC don't end up with another National Title. Aight, Go Sooners/longhornss/Big12 Jai Nepal ProudNepali
