Police in Nepal have always been brutal. Be it in the Panchayat ere, so called democratic era, or right now. The main problem is education and training. The demonstrators must understand that they do not have any rights to destroy any public properties. If they do they will have to dealt with the force. Forced closure is common in Nepal. This is agaisnt the norms of democracy. Peace.
