Bhandary and Chand were the invitee members in the NC CWC earlier while Dr Koirala and Sujata Koirala are new faces. Dr Shashanka is the youngest son of NC founder late BP Koirala while Sujata is the daughter of leader GP Koirala. Leaders Ram Chandra Poudel, Shailaja Acharya, Sushil Koirala, Bal Bahadur Rai, Arjun Narsingh KC, Baldev Sharma Majgaiya, Krishna Prasad Sitaula, Mahanta Thakur, Khum Bahadur Khadka, Govinda Raj Joshi, Mahesh Acharya, Ramsharan Mahat, Chakra Bastola, Bhim Bahadur Tamang, Laxman Ghimire, Gopal Pahadi, Ram Krishan Tamrakar, Binay Dhok Chand, Dr Ram Baran Yadav, Sunil Bhandari, Farmullah Mansoor, Lila Koirala, among others, were among those who filed candidacy for CWC membership.
