Most politicians miscalculate in their careers. Some go on to correct their calculations. Others don't. Handling the press could prove to be King Gyanendra's biggest miscalculation. I am curious to see if he will correct course on this issue. Why he chose to clamp down on an aggressive media when he appeared, up until a while ago, perfectly capable of handling them is something that baffles me. Fear got the better of pragmatism I guess.
