Hulaki's Forecast.... becoming REality?????? ------------------------- Nepalnews.com Says: SC begins review on House dissolution verdict The Supreme Court Thursday started hearing on a writ petition demanding review on its earlier verdict that upheld the decision of then Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to dissolve the House of Representatives in May 2002. A full bench of the apex court including Chief Justice Dilip Poudel began hearing on the writ filed by advocates Dhruba Koirala and Sunil Chandra Poudel three years ago, informed sources said. The SC full bench comprises of 11 members. This brings to an end the earlier stand of the apex court not to hear cases on parliament reinstatement - as demanded by the political parties - in the light of its previous verdict. Opposition political parties had brought a case to the SC, challenging Deuba?s decision to dissolve the House, which failed to impress the SC full bench headed by then Chief Justice Keshab Prasad Upadhaya.
