To whom it may concern, Since you are so proud in being a bahun(which i respect) and have cited innumerable examples of the high profile positions the janai wearing bahuns have .. u must also keep in mind that our country's present situation is also their fault(coz they are the leaders, aren't they?).If they have the power, then they should be responsible enough to take the lead.I am not aiming to hurt any caste,creed, any ethnic community nor should this be taken as a personal attack but THEY have proven themselves to be only power hungry people and have proven nothing better than that. And janai purnima is celebrated by all , even in india and if i am not mistaken , it is the day when rakhi is tied around a brother's wrist.This is totally a Hindu ritual and should not be deemed as a brahmin/chettri thing. Some people can only be literate and never educated.. maybe you fall into that category.Grow up and broaden your horizon.. there's much to life, and much more to contribute to one's nation than just portraying oneself to be superior (by hook or crook).Give credit to the ones who deserve but don't demean the others either. Do not let Religion ,Ritual and Traditions create a barrier between countrymen.Rather enjoy and learn ... Just my two pence. Phoenix
