I don't agree with Busybee's thread about killing. Killing someone by slicing the throat is a lot worse than shooting on the head. I hope you got my point. People usually don't think about the animals when they eat meat but they will definitely feel emotional when they see the animal die in front of them especially if it's barbaric killing. Same like smoking. You know that you'll die one day of smoking but you don't quit smoking. You do things even when you know it's wrong. That's human nature. I agree that Nepal's culture is very primitive and it's because it's been isolated from the rest of the world for a long time (Thanks to the Kings). A lot of things need to change and it will definitely not happen overnight. I hope the new generation in Nepal is more open minded. Shree5, I also switched to organic a few years ago. Started drinking soymilk, cage free eggs, and organic fruits and vegetables. I feel a lot healthier these days. Maybe it's only psychological, but I hope in the long run it will pay.
