just wanted to share this event a friend of mine had with his supervisor professor. BTW, he is the most-admired and #1 rated prof and folks with him are considered luckier than the rest of flock. My friend told the supervisor that he sometimes exhibits an "English" accent. The British, who is normally a true gentleman, always patient, calm, and receiving type of fellow, went so high and started shouting like "English accent? O my mother earth, what in your body is this "buddy" (does a quote sign with both his hands) speaking in? Are you speaking canucks (nickname for canadian,often in a derogatory sense) and your ear drums vibrating to an English tune? I am English, "E" "N" "G" "L" "I" "S" "H", and thats what I am."
