Short Circuirt, If You are in Nepal and trying to apply for the student visa, it is the best thing to take TOEFL. Yes, there are some college and university they will enroll you without pro. TOEFL. BUT you still have to take an institutional TOEFL which will be little easier than TOEFL. BUT it is the best thing if you just go ahead and take TOELF becasue that will make your document stronger. I did not take my TOFEL when I came here first time becasue I did not come here as a student but now I have to take TOEFL or Inst. TOEFL in order to get into the university.
