I am a great fan of mG's poetry. Simple words, profound meaning is his poem's characteristics. I liked this one for a slightly different reason. I am marveling at the way it is written. I mean, if you remove the last two lines, this will be one of the worst poem I ever read. Actually, when I was reading, I was thinking, ke lekheko mG le yo ? Why is he grumbling and grousing ? 'A livelihood scarcely earned at sanity's expense', where is this cheap philosophizing coming from ? and so on. But when I hit the last two lines, man, I said, Wow ! Damn brilliant !
