Yes, Nepali education system needs revolutionary changes but I can not agree with Sajhabasaima. Everyone in Nepal may endorse the changes that we need but the way students are heading to gain the goals may not be the right way to do it. College students especially those who are politically motivated, are engrossing the whole system to gain political benefits rather than looking for changes. I abominate it because it is not only hampering the economy as a whole but to the kids who are doing schooling and know nothing about politics. Parents are bound to send their children in India for education because of students (of various parties or mao) obstruct the functioning of schools/colleges. In democratic era many students (rather student politicians) turned full time politicians ? fought for election and elected what they did for the nation? Give me one example of such a student leader who is/was a proven brilliant student and think for nation and understand where country is heading. Once their motive to be a MP or minister is fulfilled, have they ever talk about the education system or are they on the street again? The answer is NO. Why should they be on the street once motive is fulfilled. If someone is true student leader he/she should fight till the end. We have nothing to say against student leaders other than that please (for the shake of future Nepal) don't make educational institutions as a platform of politics. Those who are on govt. colleges are not only students ? think from the one who has just started and be at school and learning "ka, kha" to those who are doing higher levels.
